Today, I want to share with you the important research that has completely shifted my view, and how you or your clients can start working WITH the body’s natural ability to detox.
The Science Behind a Postpartum Detox
After reviewing some new research, it’s beyond clear that a detox may be a necessary component to healing after childbirth. Still, there are SO many questions involved before we can even begin offering a plan of action.
Should you detox after having a baby? What if you’re breastfeeding? Is there a safe way to it? Is it actually necessary in order to heal?
The science is there to support the benefits of a whole body detox. Since the postpartum period is such a sensitive and important time, extra consideration and knowledge is required in order to utilize this process to its full potential.
Detoxing as a Holistic Postpartum Healing Tool
To help spread this knowledge and awareness, I am now offering an in-depth training on detoxing in postpartum to the public (both to mothers and the professionals that serve them).
In this 60-90min training, I’ll be covering the science behind detoxing. I will also share how it impacts the body, why/when it’s important, and a step-by-step guide on how to do it safely and effectively. It is crucial that we work WITH the body’s natural ability to detox.
