Let's be real for a minute: postpartum doesn't last 6 weeks. It can last upwards of 6 years.

So often there is no emphasis of postpartum care at all and when there is, it generally applies to those in the first 6 weeks after giving birth.

I'm here to tell you there is so much more to the story.

What I see in my own work as a Womb Whisperer® and Postpartum Bliss Coach is that so many women are suffering beyond these initial few weeks.

  • Hair loss
  • Mood Swings
  • Bloating, gas, indigestion
  • Depression / Anxiety
  • Hormone imbalances
  • Constant headaches
  • Autoimmune issues
  • Resurfacing trauma

And so much more.

These are NOT the problem but the symptoms of a greater issue at hand.

In my own journey into motherhood, I checked off every single one of these symptoms and more. And not a single person was there to help me in what I needed most.

The reality is, when you aren't feeling well physically, mentally, and emotionally, it greatly compromises your well-being and your immune system.

And taking that a step further, your well-being will shape how you show up as a mother, wife, and so much more. It's lasting repercussions impact not just you, but your entire family... for a lifetime.

It's not too late to heal.

No matter where you are on your motherhood journey.... no matter how many children you have.... it's never to late to heal your body.

What you need to know, however, is how the postpartum body is physiologically DIFFERENT. How your body heals and reacts to certain healing modalities is very unique. This means that what worked for you in pregnancy or before pregnancy may be different or inapplicable, to your postpartum.

My teachings and healing remedies are revolutionary, and that’s the very reason my clients get tremendous results.

And I've created an entire free in-depth how-to guide and mini e-course on exactly how to heal.

This guide is a culmination of science, collaboration, cultural study, countless interviews and the experiences of hundreds of women over the course of a decade of research.

By focusing on the foundations of healing, you can bring in that transformation that you so desperately need.

A little warning

The information I’m providing you is much different than what you hear and see on healing, immune-boosting, and postpartum wellness as a whole.

Instead of fads, dieting, or even supplements, pills, or shakes (none of which I recommend), I invite you to focus on the 3 roots of healing.

These three topics are the root cause of nearly every single postpartum symptom, including depression, anxiety and autoimmune disorders.

1. Nutrition

What you put into your body will become your body, so much so, that the mark of dis-ease and mental health challenges are born in lack and deficiencies.

Every function and process in your body runs on the energy from the foods you provide it. This doesn’t mean that you have to stick to a strict diet with zero yumminess (I don’t recommend doing that!), but it does mean that foods deserve bigger credit than they are given.

Study after study on postpartum depression and anxiety, as well as autoimmune disease and immune dysfunction, are finding that those who are deficient in key nutrients are also likely to have these major health issues.

2. Sleep

Getting sleep in the postpartum period is a multi-billion-dollar industry.

The fact remains, however, that sleep is essential for wellness, nervous system function and immune health. No amount of self-care can replace your need for solid, deep sleep.

Much like nutrition looks different in postpartum, so too does quality sleep, and for much more obvious reasons.

However, there are other factors at play that are far less obvious when it comes to the physiological and mental changes that take place in postpartum. These greatly impact how quickly a mama sleeps, how deeply, her REM cycle and even how she wakes.

3. Hormones

"It must be hormones..." Major hair loss, mood swings, menstrual pain, constant headaches, fatigue, depression, anxiety, weight gain…the list of symptoms of hormone imbalance often seems unending. And they are the first to blame anytime you don’t feel well. “It must be hormones” is a consistent statement we hear from our partners, medical providers, mothers, and even ourselves.

It’s true that hormones play a significant part in the functionality of your body, especially in relation to pregnancy, birth and postpartum. As explained in the other sections of this guide, a postpartum body has very specific needs to address that are far different than any other period in a woman’s life.
