It’s time to talk about how to have a natural and holistic recovery postpartum after a cesarean (c-section) delivery and acknowledge it as the unique and challenging season that it is.
The hard truth is that many c-sections are not necessary, and the risks for mom and baby are not given the weight they deserve.
Still, whole body healing and recovery is absolutely possible. To experience this, we MUST start talking about what mamas need to truly thrive after a cesarean delivery.

Cesarean births come with their own set of challenges—both physical and emotional—and yet the postpartum care offered to these moms is often shockingly inadequate.
Many are sent home with little more than a prescription and a pat on the back, expected to heal while juggling newborn care and recovering from major abdominal surgery.
This is unacceptable. Cesarean recovery requires a unique approach, one that addresses the trauma, nurtures the body, and supports the soul. It’s time we rewrite the narrative and give c-section mamas the evidence-based tools and resources they need to heal fully and holistically.
Because thriving postpartum isn’t just a luxury—it’s a necessity.
